Liftcran update 1

Outdated, new post soon

Liftcran project is a project where I do up and restore Parts from the liftcran lifts that were given to me by Michal M and other things like fire alarms and then to fix them to an MDF board, more about this can be found in the liftcran Page.

This update includes wiring drilling crimping fixing and more.

Day: 1

I started out by fixing a key switch and a Button relay consisting of three buttons

I then wired the individual relays into an empty case for a lift inspection control awaiting use at a later stage. I then also wired the key switch in the same fashion

Day: 2

I had planned to solder my wire to the buttons and lanterns but then Instead I used some crimps, these exactly matched the receptors on the parts themselves. I then proceeded to insert the wires and crimp them; after they were crimped I then hooked them up to the parts and routed them under the board and into the junction box. I also then buffed the buttons to remove dirt and light scratches that then worked and helped to improve the overall look and feel of the parts while still making them look like they tell a story and not just something new
